Compact ESEE Izula Fixed Blade Knife for Everyday Use

From the brand, Randall's Adventure & Training, launched in 1997 by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin, was created to bring realistic tools and knowledge to the consumer market. After several years under contract with the Peruvian Air Force's School of Jungle Survival operating in South America, they relocated their training stateside and launched a sister company, ESEE Knives, to produce high-quality field-grade knives and gear.

The Izula's blade is made from 1095 carbon steel, a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use. However, 1095 steel is prone to rusting and staining if not properly cared for, particularly on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blade lubricated and cleaned, and the manufacturer suggests using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

The knife's handle length is 3.375 inches, and its maximum thickness is 1.56 inches. The Izula weighs only 2.0 ounces, making it a lightweight and easy-to-carry option. The knife is made in the USA and includes a molded polymer sheath and clip plate.
