When the team at ESEE decided to create knives specifically for hunters, they sought advice and opinions from some of the industry's best experts. The result of this collaborative effort is the ESEE Ashley Game Knife (AGK), designed by Ashley Emerson. As an experienced guide and hunter who has operated in diverse locations from Alaska to Africa, Ashley has had the opportunity to handle hundreds of deer, numerous wild hogs, and a range of other animals, from squirrels to buffalo. Drawing on his vast field experience, Ashley has used and modified various knives to suit his needs, and his expertise has been instrumental in the development of the ESEE-AGK.

Randall's Adventure & Training was founded in 1997 by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin, with the goal of bringing realistic tools and knowledge to the consumer market. After several years of operating under contract with the Peruvian Air Force's School of Jungle Survival in South America, they relocated their training operations to the United States and launched a sister company, ESEE Knives, to produce high-quality field-grade knives and gear.
