Upgraded ESEE 4P Fixed Blade Knife for Survival, Coyote Brown Sheath

The new Sawtooth pattern handle ESEE-4 is a captivating addition to the ESEE lineup. Falling between the compact ESEE-3 and the larger ESEE-5 and ESEE-6 knives, the ESEE-4 is the perfect fixed-blade outdoor knife. Designed by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin as an all-around tactical, survival, and bushcraft knife, this is a true survival tool.

The ESEE-4's 4.5-inch drop point blade in 1095 carbon steel is capable of tackling a wide range of outdoor tasks, from field dressing to preparing medium to large-sized game. Sharpened to approximately 20 degrees, the blade's versatility is enhanced by its 9.0-inch overall length.

The Sawtooth G10 handle offers a distinctive, intimidating appearance, reminiscent of a shark's teeth. Beyond the aggressive aesthetic, the sawtooth pattern provides a comfortable, finger-groove fit, breaking the mold of previous ESEE handle designs.

This survival knife has been put to the test by military, law enforcement, and adventurers worldwide, proving its performance and durability in the Randall's Adventure & Training jungle survival school, in the hands of special operations personnel, and strapped to hikers' backpacks.

ESEE carbon steel knives, including the ESEE-4, are made from 1095 steel, a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use. However, 1095 steel requires proper care and maintenance to prevent rust and staining, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. Users are responsible for keeping the blades lubricated and cleaned, and ESEE recommends using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

The ESEE-4 is available in three variants: black powder coating with Sawtooth handle and black polymer sheath, black powder coating with Sawtooth handle and coyote polymer sheath, and black powder coating with Sawtooth handle and OD polymer sheath.
