ESEE Izula Fixed Blade Knife for Everyday Carry

From the brand, ESEE Knives, launched in 1997, Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin introduced Randall's Adventure & Training to bring realistic tools and knowledge to the consumer market. After several years under contract with the Peruvian Air Force's School of Jungle Survival, operating in South America, they relocated their training stateside and launched a sister company to produce high-quality field-grade knives and gear – ESEE Knives.

The locals in Peru call the meanest and nastiest ant of the jungle by the name "Isula," which we know as the Bullet Ant. The Bullet Ant is known to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor, and the IZULA knife is built the same way. This knife is designed to be the perfect lightweight survival kit or concealed carry knife (or unconcealed if preferred).

The knife includes a durable black injection-molded carry sheath. ESEE carbon steel knives are made from 1095 steel, a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use. However, 1095 steel will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE recommends using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

The overall blade length of the ESEE Izula is 2.875 inches, with a cutting edge of 2.625 inches. The handle length is 3.375 inches, and the maximum thickness is 1.56 inches. The weight of the knife only (without the sheath) is 2.0 ounces. The ESEE Izula is made in the USA.
