Outdoor Survival Knife: ESEE Izula-OD with Molded Polymer Sheath and Clip Plate

The ESEE Izula is a versatile and durable knife inspired by the locals in Peru who refer to the meanest and nastiest ant of the jungle as the "Isula," known to us as the Bullet Ant. Just like the Bullet Ant, the IZULA knife is built to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor.

ESEE carbon steel knives, including the IZULA, are crafted from 1095 steel, a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use. However, 1095 steel is prone to rust and staining if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE recommends using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH to maintain the knife's condition.

The ESEE Izula-B is available with a molded polymer sheath and clip plate, offering a choice of handle scales - either G10 black or Micarta. The ESEE Izula-OD, on the other hand, features an olive drab powder coating and a choice of G10 orange or gray handles.
