ESEE 3P Fixed Blade Knife with Grey Micarta Handles and Coyote Sheath

Randall's Adventure & Training, a sister company to ESEE Knives, was launched in 1997 by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin to bring realistic tools and knowledge to the consumer market. After operating under contract with the Peruvian Air Force's School of Jungle Survival in South America for several years, they relocated their training stateside and established ESEE Knives to produce high-quality field-grade knives and gear.

Designed by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin of Randall's Adventure & Training, the ESEE-3 was based on input from soldiers and cops in the field. After a few tweaks to the original concept, the ESEE-3 quickly became the tactical fixed-blade knife by which all others are judged. With its Micarta handles and 1/8-inch thick blade, it is a true slicing and cutting machine.

ESEE carbon steel knives, including the ESEE-3, are made from 1095 steel, a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use. However, it is important to note that 1095 steel will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE recommends using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

The ESEE-3 features an Overall Length of 8.19", an Overall Blade Length of 3.88", and a Cutting Edge Length of 3.38". The blade is made of 1095 Carbon steel with a Rockwell Hardness of 55-57 and a Maximum Thickness of .125". The blade finish is a Textured Powdercoat, and the handle is made of Linen Micarta. The knife comes with a Molded Polymer Sheath and an Ambidextrous Clip Plate.
